Youthreach Tuam serves young people in the town and the surrounding area of north east Galway. It is part of the national Youthreach programme for young people who have left school early or are at risk of leaving.
The programme
The centre offers a small, supportive setting with a mix of accredited learning and practical work. Participants work toward national awards and develop the personal and practical skills needed for work and adult life.

Who it is for
Young people aged 15 to 20 in Tuam and the surrounding area. Entry is arranged through the centre, often with a referral from a school, youth service or education welfare officer.
Allowances and support
Eligible participants may receive a training allowance. The centre also provides guidance and connects young people with other services where needed.
