Location:
Leitir Moir is situated about 32 miles west of Galway City in an area known as Ceantar na n-Oileain (The Islands Region). We were the first Youthreach centre to be established in the Gaeltacht. The working language of the centre is Gaeilge and all subjects are taught through the medium of Irish.
The Youthreach centre in Leitir Moir was established in 1994. The centre is located in a premises owned by Udaras na Gaeltachta and it has recently been refurbished to the highest standards. A Youthskills course was previously in existence. At present it is a 25 place centre.
Trainees attend on the basis of a 35 hour week and are paid a training allowance. Part- time places are also available.

Centre Philosophy:
